Ready to start attracting and converting more of the right corporate customers – sponsors, exhibitors, advertisers, and others – with less stress and effort?
TSAE has teamed up with one of our favorite association sales experts – Carrie McIntyre of Navigate – to offer her cohort-based Non-Dues Revenue Base Camp program.

NDR Base Camp is a comprehensive program to boost non-dues revenue results.
This step-by-step cohort program empowers associations to increase sponsorship, exhibit, advertising, and related revenue streams with enhanced messaging, marketing, and sales processes.
Non-dues revenue. Simplified.
Your association team is already delivering remarkable member value with limited resources, and with more revenue you can:
- Grow your audience,
- Hire additional staff,
- Launch new programs,
- Upgrade technology platforms, and more.
But the path to more non-dues revenue can be daunting – especially if you're short on bandwidth and/or in-house sales expertise – and you might be wondering:
- Does our sales messaging and collateral resonate?
- Can we get better results more efficiently?
- How do we engage more new companies?
Now there's a way to move past those challenges and build stronger, more sustainable non-dues revenue. Introducing NDR Base Camp from Navigate: a tailored cohort training program designed for busy association teams.
By the end of this program you will have...
#1
Created an ideal customer profile and value proposition
for the corporate buyers you most want to engage.
#2
Adjusted the website experience for prospects
with enhanced navigation and messaging to hook and convert.
#3
Collected stories and stats that do the selling for you
with new survey questions and simplified testimonial gathering.
#4
Crafted the right collateral for each type of sale
using templates that make you look really. darn. good.
#5
Executed more impactful outreach to prospects
via the right approach for email, phone, and social.
#6
Nailed down an efficient sales process that delivers
AND helps the team feel more comfortable wearing a sales hat.
But above all else...
NDR Base Camp will equip you with the processes, tools, and support that enable you to make steady, measurable progress towards an enhanced revenue stream.
Hi, I'm Carrie McIntyre, your NDR Base Camp Guide.
Imagine your association's ideal corporate customers quickly grasping your value, signing up sooner, spending more, and renewing promptly.
After 30 years in this industry, I started Navigate to help associations increase non-dues revenue from sponsorships, exhibits, advertising, and related revenue streams while strengthening relationships with industry suppliers and partners.
I've spent my career working for and with associations, always in scrappy environments where we had to do more with less, just like you. That means my guidance is based on my direct experiences as a high-performing revenue-generator who (a) didn't want to come across as salesy and (b) was only able to spend a fraction of my time on direct sales activities (full bio here).
I love helping people see success in their own sales efforts, and I'm excited to help your team become non-dues revenue rockstars!

What if you and your team enjoyed sales?
You might think that's a stretch, but I know it's not impossible given that most of the stress and anxiety people associate with sales comes from:
1. The misconception that sales is about pitching, persuading, pushing, and other tactics that feel icky to both the buyer and the seller.
2. The lack of an optimized customer journey that starts with building awareness and ends with something better than a sale: a growing list of association brand champions.
My sales career started with all kinds of stress and anxiety for those very reasons, and I've seen first-hand the difference that a non-icky sales approach and a kick-ass customer journey can have on your job satisfaction and your bottom line.
Your association also needs to operate at peak efficiency, so when I built this course, I put a ton of thought into what it would take for busy association teams like yours to not only complete the course, but also implement the changes.
I DON'T want you to walk away saying, "That course was great and we should try those ideas sometime."
I DO want you to walk away saying (loudly... and to lots of other people...), "Holy cow! What a difference that course made for our team and our revenue!"
Here's the really cool thing...
The companies you want to engage face significant challenges with their own sales efforts. Their own prospecting is harder as noise increases and attention spans decrease. This is why you have a ton of opportunity.
Your industry's suppliers need your association, but they may not quite realize it yet. With the knowledge and skills you'll gain from this course, you'll position your association as an indispensable partner in their marketing strategies.
